Builder Rank

This isnt a plugin

So I was thinking. You could apply for a builder rank - either temporary then earn a permanent one after a while or something.
So if you were a fantastic builder, you could apply for a temporary builder rank (and build that creation and ONLy that creation). You would have to get proof of how well you build either in-game or some other way to prevent copying creations. The builders could only have spawning rights and any World Edit stuff done by a mod+. Maybe for permanent builders, the current staff as a whole decide or something.

The problem would be if they gave out spawn items.
Temporary builders would have to specify how many days they need, what they are going to build and other things along the line.

Is this a good idea?

hey i do not think that this is a good idea iknow you all give your friends vip and stuff trolly but uhm wat if a greifer works his way into vip or watever to get to the point in being able to apply as builder then destroys everything then wat.... srry im not trying to be a dick but its not a good idea =P

For one maybe they have to be around for a while eg. 2weeks and consistently show that they are trustworthy,anigriefing and etc. And couldnt trolly disable the placing of tnt and lava? After all, he can tell who spawns what.

i think he can disable that but im not positive cause i think he tryed it once before

I know there is some risk in doing this but be honest.. jbreed i trusted you. and you could turn on any moment if you wanted to right... anyone can do anything at any time none knows. you just give them chances and find the best ones. its how i found all my staff members that i met recently.
